How do I make a claim?

You can make a claim by calling our dedicated claims assessors on 0860 109 529.

How do I make a claim out of office hours?

You can contact us via our email address, support@techsured.co.za or call us on 0860 109 529 and follow the voice prompts.

Notify Techsured within 7 days from the event of the loss! Submit a claim within 30 days of the theft or loss.

Failure to comply with the above may result in your claim being delayed or rejected. Once all the requested information has been received, Techsured will process your claim within 72 hours.

My device is lost or stolen! What do I do?

In the event of a claim you must:

  • Contact your Service Provider to report the device lost or stolen and obtain an ITC reference number.
  • Report a theft to the police with 24 hours.
  • Contact Viva Cover and inform us on the loss and provide us with the ITC and police case number.

How do I blacklist my device?

  • Contact your service provider to blacklist your device if lost or stolen, this effectively blocks your device from all further use. You can download and complete the Blacklist form and submit it to your service provider. They will issue you with as ITC number.

Cell C

  • 140 from a Cell C line.
  • (084) 140 from any other line.

MTN

  • 173 from a MTN line.
  • (083) 173 from any other line.

Vodacom

  • 111 from a Vodacom line.

MRP Mobile

  • 140 from a MRP Mobile line.

Contact Techsured within 24 hours of discovery of any claim on theft or loss.

My device is damaged! What should I do?

  • You must contact Techsured during office hours for an Incident Form.
  • Visit a device Repair Centre and obtain a quote to repair your device, alternatively we will arrange for the Authorised Repair Centre to collect your device.
  • Complete the Incident Form.
  • Fax the completed form and quote back to us on 0866 393 910 or email us at claims@techsured.co.za
